Born David Seth Kotkin, David Copperfield was the youngest person to everbe admitted to the Society of American Magicians. He was twelve years old then, and by 16, he was teaching a course in magic at New York University. He headlined at the Pagoda Hotel in Honolulu, Hawaii, at age 19.
David Copperfield has a successful career, and has achieved many awards. The illusionist has been nominated 35 times for Emmy Awards and won 21 times.
The Guinness Book of World Records has calculated that he has sold more tickets in his career than any other solo entertainer. Other Guinness World Records held by Copperfield include being the most awarded magician in history and being the first living magician to receive a star on the Hollywood 'Walk of Fame'.
He appeared in media through television specials and guess spots. He has done spectacular illusions/magic tricks, namely making the Statue of Liberty DISAPPEAR, FLYING, LEVITATING over the Grand Canyon, and WALKING THROUGH the Great Wall of China.
And even though these are all just illusions, tell me, how many of you are intelligent enough to convince people for at least five minutes that you can fly?
This is basically the reason why we chose David Copperfield to be our hero, much to everyone's confusion. He is a respectable man who managed to think up such incredible and astounding acts that manage to impress and astonish large audiences all over the world.

i had difficulty looking for GOOD pictures of David Copperfield because everytime i do, images of Harry Potter, Michael Jackson, and some other random unimportant people show up and yes it is annoying. no, it's beyond annoying.
